From the long times Omodhos village was produced wines, espesialy the red sweet one that the Soltan tasted and occupied Cyprus. Long ago the co-operative of the village put lories to tranfer the grapes to limassol big wineries; with all the bad conditions as the changing of the taste and the litlle amount of the juice spilled on the ground.
After the coverment give motives to villagers to built there own winery in there home Marios do his own with the name of MARION, and after Rotis his own in a warestore in the midlle of the village and soon tranfered in the new builtings out of the village in the north gave it the name LINOS.
Lately the big wine factory of Limassol ETKO made a local winery in the village gave it the name of OLYMPUS WINERY.
